Gothic Art | The Gothic period was in many respects the Age of the Cathedral - during this time, the most magnificent cathedrals were constructed, each reflecting the glory and power of the Christian Church. Some famous structures built during this era were Chartres Cathedral and the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris.
