Giovanni Bellini | Bellini's The Feast of the Gods is a wonderfully charming image of the Greco-Roman gods and goddesses cavorting in an idyllic setting. Indeed, this painting features a serene mood that characterizes much of the artist's work.
Giorgione | The sensuous painting attributed to Giorgione titled Pastoral Scene is a delicious and fleshy feast for the eyes and mind, from the artist who specialized in such seductive fare. Giorgione also painted magnificent landscape backgrounds.
Titian | The famous artist Titian created the masterpiece known as the Venus of Urbino, in which a beautiful woman reclines in an erotically charged and symbolic environment. Talented Titian was also adept at painting portraits.
Paolo Veronese | Veronese painted lavish and sensuous images with intoxicating colors and equally intriguing subjects - examples are his Allegory of Wisdom and Strength, Allegory of Virtue and Vice (The Choice of Hercules), and Mars and Venus United by Love.
