Marshmallow Sofa
July 12

Created for the Herman Miller Furniture Company in 1956 by designer George Nelson, the colorful Marshmallow Sofa is a delight in style and function. Consisting of circular cushions mounted to a simple metal frame, the Marshmallow Sofa is essentially a component system that could be manufactured to any length and configuration required. Mass produced, adaptable, and stylish, the Marshmallow Sofa is a classic example of Nelson's contributions to furniture design in the 1950s.
