Born on this day in 1881, Pablo Picasso was one of the most influential artists of the 20th Century. Picasso, along with fellow artist Georges Braque, was instrumental in the development of the defining movement of modern art, Cubism. But his revolutionary works often masked his extraordinary skills as a draftsman... Picasso once noting at a children's art exhibition, "it took me many years to draw like these children". A prolific artist as well, it is estimated Picasso created some 50,000 works of art during his lifetime.
