Lever House
November 18
Designed by Gordon Bunshaft of Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill, the Lever House (1952) is perhaps one of the most influential buildings of the 20th Century. A prototype for many office buildings, the Lever House consists of an eighteen story, blue-green tower raised above the pedestrian level at Park Avenue by stainless steel columns.
