Designed in the 1930's by Raymond Loewy and his staff, the Coldspot Refrigerator marked a radical shift in product design that captured the spirit of progress in the machine age. The design featured the aesthetics of other machines: streamlined forms and automotive styling, complete with chrome latches and trim.
