Barcelona Chair

Designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, the Barcelona Chair made its debut at the 1929 International Exhibition in Barcelona, Spain. The chair, displayed in the German Pavilion also by Mies van der Rohe, reinforces the clean aesthetics of the pavilion with a sculptural shape rendered in chromed steel.
