Miró studio
July 2 Designed by José Luis Sert for his friend and artist, Joan Miró, the 1955 Miró studio is a light-filled composition of white concrete and glass. The studio, located in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, features curving roof forms reminiscent of his later museum masterpiece, the 1964 Fondation Maeght. The studio is now part of stunning modern art center completed by architect Rafael Moneo in 1992. |
