Gustav Klimt

He is best known for his works such as 'the Kiss', and his Beethoven Frieze panels from the 1902 Vienna Secession exhibition. His works typically conveyed a seductive presence coupled with historical themes as represented in his 1898 'Pallas Athene'... a powerful image complete with the signature red headed femme fatale held in outstretched hand of Athena. |
